A unique and very unusual silver plated gun fob from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful fob is designed to look like an old pistol, however, a single blade pocketknife pulls from the top. The pistol has beautiful detail with a decorative body and a faux trigger and hammer. It hangs from a silver ring at the heel of the gun, allowing you to attach it to a simple sterling chain. The knife is stamped "JAPAN". The pocketknife is fully functional and this handcrafted piece would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
Measurement: When closed, the pistol pocketknife hangs approximately 2 1/8" long, is 1 1/8" wide and has a thickness of a little more than 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the pocketknife is good. There is some normal surface wear to the silver plated finish, which isn't unusual for a Victorian piece. The knife easily pulls out and stays secure when pushed in.?
